Outreach

Aardvark Books works with outside organisations to bring books and other products to a range of venues. Aardvark Books is the official bookseller for Ludlow Food Festival, can host school visits, and has organised a number of themed author events. If you are an organisation who would like to work with Aardvark, why not get in touch?

Exhibition Programme

We normally hold a wide-ranging and varied programme of exhibitions. From showing unique antique maps to drawings by Royal Academicians, Aardvark offers a flexible venue to bring outstanding works to the people of the Marches.

Situated in a pretty tiny village overlooking fields with majestic kites soaring overhead. Fantastic selection of books to buy and lovely cards, wrapping paper and small gifts to purchase. Coffee shop sells delicious cakes and wonderful selection of coffee. Great place for cyclists to stop off with bicycle stands available, outdoor seating and wonderful, friendly staff.”

A gem of a place to spend time, and money. Perfect for the snapper up of unconsidered books, and the coffee is heavenly. Try the dark chocolate and ginger tiffin as well.”

- Anne C

Simply superb bookshop run by true book lovers. A dazzling selection of reference material I'd never seen anywhere else which meant I came away with a whole heap of design books and creative thinking aids that will serve me for years to come. Upstairs is a great collection of new and used fiction/non-fiction titles all very well organised.

And there is a delightful cafe with great food - what more could you want?”

- Mark C, 2018

Booklovers paradise! Huge barn with thousands of books, mostly second hand but good quality. Some new books and rare editions. Excellent cafe. Open 9-5 on all but 4 days in the year. Lots of cards and unusual wrapping papers as well. Beautiful rural setting and only a few yards away from the amazing yew hedges in Brampton Bryan. Well worth a visit.”

- Anna P, 2018

A great selection of interesting ethically sourced coffee and homemade cakes followed by an unhurried hour or so browsing the wide range of books. Although I didn't find the book the I was looking for, I came away with several other interesting ones. The owners know their stuff!”
